As per judgment of the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal, Jaipur bench in ITA No.614/JP/2016, & ITA No. 818/JP/2016, dt: 19/06/2018, the following are exempted from income tax to Judicial Officers: (i) Medical allowance to an extent of Rs.15000/- p.a (ii) Sumptuary Allowance (iii) Leave Encashment  not exceeding one month in a block period of two years are tax free (iv) Residence office allowance (v) Conveyance allowance.
